A word from President Mannie...
I want to extend a warm thank you to some folks who have made this event a success.
Chairpeople Vince and Shanda for a job well done. The Academic Decathlon team at Union Mine High School did the decorations under the leadership of Shanda. Ed Mathews in organizing the big drawing, the liquid refreshment team, Chad and Regina. Ticket sellers Syd & Nadine O’Brien, Mark & Allison Payne. Courtney and Wendy Mattson for tickets design and printing. Ron, Jeff, and Pat for organizers of the Grand Raffle. Treasurer Andy and the real Treasurer...Kristi! ...and incoming president Terrie Prod’hon for so much time and advice.

Ball Thanks You’s...here goes...Mannie Shaffer for his untiring efforts and hard work, Co-chair Shanda for handling all the decor. Terrie for contributing so much time and that of her staff on accounting...and so much more! Jeff, Ron and Pat for the excellent raffle, Chad and Regina for coordinating the bar and working it all night long.
Cris for his work in getting the animals. Sherri, Carol Osborne and Marsha Stancil for greeting guests and helping them find their tables.
Scott Benton for wine tickets sales, Pat and Danno for getting all props from storage, Ray for ticket sales, Andy for insurance, Rick Lawton for the sound system, Honey Bear Catering and John Skinner Band.
Finally, to Ed Mathews for taking charge of the Big Ticket Raffle. Ed with Al Williams and Dan DeWolf doing the drawing, Linda Marsden writing the names and numbers for a paper trail list (excuse the election joke!), and Becky Vorster recorded on the Big Board. Cris Alarcon handled the power point and Chris Baxter managed the table negotiating.
