GOTO R.I. Zones 23 & 24 Website
New Zone Website
Take a look at the new R.I. Zones 23 & 24 Resource Center website for
Rotary leaders at: www.RotaryZone2324.org.
Our goal is to make this a true "resource center" focusing on matters
pertaining to all Rotary leaders a nd Rotarians in the 23 districts of Zones
23&24 (and it is not intended to supplant the RI Website for information on
what's happening on a global basis). The website will feature significant events
in the Zones, key decisions of the RI Board, appointments of Rotarians to Zone
and Rotary International committees and task forces, outstanding project reports
and stories of interest to Rotarians and special updates. Please take a few
minutes now to check it out. Be sure to click on the Zones
23-24 Map link then click on your district number and others for quick
access to each district's website.
Past RI Director Jerry Hall
THANK YOU RI Vice President/RID Jerry Hall and Tasha
for your two great years of service to Rotarians and Rotary leaders in Zones 23
& 24. We couldn't have asked for two finer individuals to have served as our
representatives on the RI Board during this most exciting time in Rotary's
history. You've built upon the outstanding legacy of PRID Ron Beaubien and
Vicki, and PRID Floyd and Saundra before them, and many others who've provided
outstanding leadership in behalf of Rotarians in our two zones and worldwide.
You and other Rotarians might wish to take a moment to send a note expressing Gratitude and Appreciation to outgoing RID Jerry and Tasha by clicking here: jhallreno@sbcglobal.net
Presidential Membership Conference
"Sharing the Magic of Rotary" is the
theme of seven Presidential Conferences being held across North America this
July and August by R.I. President Wilfrid J. "Wilf" Wilkinson. Rotary
leaders in Zones 23 & 24 have their choice of two locations: Vancouver, BC.
(10-11 August) or San Jose, CA (17-18 August). R.I. President Wilf and a
star-studded cast of Rotary's greatest will be headlining the Conference. Why
is your attendance at this Conference important? Because Membership must
become "Job 1" for you, me and each and every Rotarian - much
as we have seen work so well with the EREY campaign of TRF. Rotary leaders –
starting with you and me – need to lead by example. RIP Wilf's goal is
to have at least one from each Rotary Club in Zones 23/24 represented at
one of the Conferences. The key is to have a hands-on leader from each club
attend. To register or find out more information, please visit: www.rotaryzone2324.org/event070817.html
Rotary Shares 2007-08 Theme Song
Download the Music to Rotary Shares – 2007-08 Theme
Song by Paul Bordeleau. Introduced during the recent Salt Lake City
Convention – many Rotary club leaders have already asked how they can get a
copy of the music and lyrics for their clubs. Click
here to download a copy.
