Hangtown Gazette April 2007

DID YOU KNOW?..

Spring has sprung... March 2 1st, and the clocks have sprung ahead to save time???, daylight??? , energy???, whatever. It’s just easier to go along with the whole thing, whether you understand it . or not

The Dixon family, friends, and the Placerville community prevailed at a recent probation hearing. The decision to extend the prison term for four more years is due, in part, to the overwhelmingly HUGE response of our community by letters in support of the Dixon family.

This years Bon Voyage, Out of Africa, is over for another year! A lot of work by Chair Vince and committees.. .and looked forward to by the community. Al and Cher Williams are the winners of the safari trip.. .and they are taking the $7K in cash for now...a trip later. I always knew they were winners!

Thanks go to many for their contribution to the success of the event..
